The dreadnought body shape is our largest size, which produces the most resonant and voluminous tone, even as the auditorium body shape delivers a balanced tone and beautiful projection. The grand performance cutaway model provides a deep and rich bass. Many of our guitars are also offered in a left-handed option. This Martin professional guitar is complete with Fishman MX-T electronics that have a built-in auto-mute option for the audio output. The dreadnought guitar body style complements the solid wood construction by adding a rich and exceptional-sounding bass, even as the cutaway style offers easier access to higher notes.
SUPERIOR APPEARANCE: The Martin DC-13E acoustic-electric guitars boast Mutenye wood backs and sides and Sitka spruce tops. The entirety of each guitar is completed with a gloss finish. Each one has a mortise and tenon neck joint, scalloped X-brace, FSC Certified Richlite fingerboard, high-performance tapered neck, and chrome enclosed gear tuners, making them look as captivating as they sound.
